1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules of conduct for all users of Snapics.ai, operated by GT Atlas LLC. It supplements our Terms of Service and is designed to protect GT Atlas LLC, Snapics.ai users, and the broader community. Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, process, or distribute through Snapics.ai any content that:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any depiction of minors in sexual situations. This is a zero-tolerance violation and will be reported to NCMEC and relevant law enforcement immediately.
- Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery: "Deepfakes" or manipulated images of real individuals in sexual, compromising, or defamatory contexts without their explicit consent.
- Hate Speech & Terrorism: Content promoting violence, hatred, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin. Content promoting or glorifying terrorist organizations or acts.
- Illegal Activity: Content depicting, promoting, or facilitating illegal activities including fraud, drug trafficking, human trafficking, weapons manufacturing, or money laundering.
- Intellectual Property Violations: Content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties without authorization.
- Malicious Content: Images designed to spread misinformation, impersonate individuals for fraud, or manipulate public opinion through fabricated visual evidence.
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not engage in the following activities:
3.1 System Abuse
- Using automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to interact with the Service outside of any officially provided API.
- Attempting to overload, stress-test, or degrade the performance or availability of the Service (including DDoS attacks).
- Exploiting bugs, vulnerabilities, or unintended behaviors in the platform. If you discover a vulnerability, report it responsibly to security@snapics.ai.
3.2 Account Abuse
- Multi-Accounting: Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier credit limits, referral programs, promotional offers, or account restrictions.
- Account Sharing: Sharing login credentials with third parties or allowing unauthorized individuals to access your account.
- Identity Fraud: Creating an account under a false identity or using stolen payment credentials.
3.3 Watermark Tampering
Important: Attempting to remove, obscure, crop, or alter the watermark on images generated under the Free Plan through any means — including but not limited to: AI-based watermark removal tools, manual editing, cropping, overlaying, or third-party services — is strictly prohibited.
- Distributing, publishing, or selling watermarked images as if they were licensed clean outputs.
3.4 Refund Abuse ("Friendly Fraud")
- Upgrading to a paid plan, downloading clean (non-watermarked) images, and then requesting a refund or filing a chargeback. This is considered fraud.
- Repeatedly purchasing and refunding subscriptions or credit packs as a pattern of abuse.
- Filing fraudulent chargebacks for services that were received and used.
3.5 Resale & Redistribution
- Reselling, sublicensing, or providing commercial "image processing as a service" using Snapics.ai as the backend without prior written authorization.
- Mass-downloading outputs for the purpose of building competing datasets or services.
4. Fair Use Guidelines
To ensure a fair experience for all users, we enforce the following guidelines:
- Rate Limits: API calls and job submissions are subject to per-account rate limits. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary throttling.
- Batch Limits: Each subscription plan has a maximum batch size (number of images per job). Do not attempt to bypass these limits.
- Storage Limits: We reserve the right to impose storage quotas if an account consumes disproportionate storage resources.
- Credit System: Credits represent a fair allocation of processing resources. Do not attempt to manipulate credit balances through exploits, timing attacks, or repeated failed-job schemes.
5. Content Moderation & Reporting
We reserve the right to review, flag, or remove content that violates this policy. Content moderation may be performed through automated systems and/or manual review.
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it to abuse@snapics.ai with as much detail as possible.
6. Enforcement & Consequences
Violations of this policy are handled on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the severity, frequency, and intent of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

| Warning | Email notification of the violation with a request to cease the activity. |
| Temporary Suspension | Account suspended for a defined period (7–30 days). Credits are frozen during suspension. |
| Permanent Termination | Account permanently closed. All remaining credits are forfeited. No refund is issued. |
| Legal Action | For criminal activity (CSAM, fraud, hacking), we will cooperate fully with law enforcement and pursue all available legal remedies. |
Zero-tolerance violations (CSAM, terrorism, non-consensual intimate imagery) result in immediate permanent termination and law enforcement notification without prior warning.
7. Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may submit an appeal to appeals@snapics.ai within 14 days of the enforcement action. Include your account email and a detailed explanation. We will review your appeal within 10 business days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as our platform evolves. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
